What personal information we collect when you shop with D'Squish, why we need it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

Information you give us

We only ask for what we need to run the store:

When you order: your name, email address, shipping address, an optional phone number and the items you bought.
When you join the drop list: your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
When you contact us: your name, email address, an optional order number and your message.
When you write a review: the name you choose to display and your review.

Information collected automatically

When you sign up for emails, contact us or post a review, we record your IP address and browser details. We use these to prevent spam and abuse and, for email signups, as a record of your consent.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that the store needs to work:

A cart cookie, so the items you add are still there when you come back.
A session cookie, which keeps checkout working and lets you view the orders you have just placed.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use your information

To take payment for, pack and deliver your order, and to email you about it.
To answer your questions and handle returns and refunds.
To send you our newsletter, but only if you signed up for it.
To keep the store secure and prevent fraud and abuse.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the store:

Stripe, which processes card payments and calculates sales tax. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers.
Our email delivery provider, which sends order, newsletter and support emails on our behalf.
The carrier that delivers your parcel, which receives your name and shipping address.

Your choices

Every newsletter email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can use it at any time. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@dsquish.com.

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes, even if you ask us to delete the rest of your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
